I went here after having a sore throat for a couple of days that turned very severe. I needed somewhere quick and this was right by my house. When I got there, I explained that I had a very sore throat and she asked me if I have seasonal allergies. I told her I do but I take medicine for them and they are fine. She told me (without even looking at me) that my sore throat was because of my allergies so she wouldn't be able to do anything for me. She sent me away with nothing. I went to work the next day and the pain became so unbearable that I was desperate. I went to Urgent Care on 70th and Pioneers (GREAT place) and they actually looked at me and sure enough, I tested positive for strep throat. Not at all impressed with this place, and I will never be going back or recommending that anyone go there.
Visited CHI Quick Care this morning with my son. The APRN, Emily, was very thorough and professional. Extremely satisfied with the care he received.
Wouldn't treat my wife. Looked for an excuse to refer to primary physician for an ear infection...
The APRN treated me with a lot of disrespect and told me I did not have strep throat without even examining me. She degraded my knowledge as a medical professional as well. I will never go back or send anyone there for any reason.
