Don't have your nurses schedule appointments if you aren't going to be available. I had endometrios surgery and was prescribed pain meds. A little while after my surgery I was still in pain and his nurses had the nerve to tell me they think I am fine and I should not be in pain , with that being said they wouldn't write me a pain script to be refilled. I had to find a new doctor who actually is concerned and caring . I don't believe they should just decide to not give some one pain medication because of a thought that they have. Or just because MOST people are pain free after the surgery ,everyones body is different. I am still to this day in pain day to day .with 4 and 5 year old kids to take care of. And I can't even give them my full energy and physical activity because of the pain in my abdomen. The nurses are lazy (hattans and nurses anyways) they do not give love and care as i feel they should. Not only that but they rushed me through my appointment and barely even let me give the Dr a message before leaving. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional.
Dr hattan was always booked and full. The waiting time was ridiculous and he was always in surgery and never on time

When you have an OB with makeup on the shoulders of his white coat every visit, you know you have a great one. Seriously, this group has indescribable bedside manner. My OB is Dr. Friesen. He is kind, comforting, and funny. His hugs are the best. While my 2 year old was admitted in the hospital, I developed mastitis and was miserable. Hattan took care of me over the phone and Friesen showed up early the next morning to my daughters hospital room on the peds floor. Really? They go over and beyond to help. Gibbens delivered our second child while my doctor was on a vacation and he was great. We met Martin during rounds after we had our third child. Immediately, we had felt like we had know him for years. He's got that magical bedside manner too. I can't tell enough of my friends and clients about my love for this office! If you're on the search, search no more. I truly believe that these are the best hands you and your baby can be in.
