The stock MSI Dominator GT72 that i ordered was all kinds of messed up. For one the seal was broken on arrival, the SSD is missing and the Killer Wireless N1535 Dual Band WLAN WiFi 802.11 ac card is replaced by some garbage N card, i even had to reinstall windows when i got it. This is unacceptable for any purchase in the USA especially for something with a price tag of $1500. I had spoken to them about the broken seal and they pretty much shrugged it off. My advise if you are thinking of buying from these guys because they are a little cheaper is DONT find a well known trusted distributer.

They keep trying to tell me that they're doing me a favor by repairing a 3 year old machine that I've had problems out of since literally day one. I don't see their logic in asking someone to keep a machine that fails within 2 months of use. I assure you it does not matter if you are 1 day outside of the return policy they won't take it back or replace it for any reason past that. I've given them many opportunities to repair the laptop, yet they still refuse to replace it. They honestly don't care about what kind of experience I've had with this laptop I'm stuck with past their return policy.

The first failure occurred on day 1 of receiving the laptop. All other failures we're within 2 months of receiving after repair.

So before you decide to purchase from this company. Ask yourself if you want to go through the same issue that I am with this company. My problem is not with the laptop, it's with the way Xotic PC is handling things.

Xotic PC has admitted that the number of repairs were excessive and asked MSI to replace the unit. MSI refused since it was out of their warranty. Xotic PC will not refund or replace anything outside of their return policy regardless of the issue. Basically they want MSI to take the hit for the unit.

2. Malfunctioning keyboard and bluetooth

Thanks Xotic PC. You made a lifetime customer out of me!

1. 3 returns for a bad ssd Xotic PC installed. I had to call MSI twice to tell these guys to replace the drive.

Purchased a MSI Dominator Pro 2PC from these guys and I've regretted it ever since.

This should serve as a warning to those considering purchasing a laptop from XoticPC. If you expect quality customer service on your investment, you are better off looking elsewhere.

3 GPU failure, needed to be replaced

IGNORE ANY RESPONSES THEY MAKE TO THIS UPDATE. THEY'RE ONLY DOING IT TO PROTECT THEIR REPUTATION. EVERYTHING THAT I'VE SAID CAN BE PROVEN THROUGH EMAIL CORRESPONDENCES.

Short Version: Attempted to repair a laptop. After 5 separate attempts, they have failed to resolve the issue at hand. During each attempt, I was meant with infrequent responses, “flowery” PR responses, and cluelessness. After nearly 6 months of dealing with this, I have stopped receiving any responses with the most recent response suggesting that I never update my Nvidia Drivers for the Nvidia GTX 980m.

4. PC will power on but not boot. It stays on a black screen.

Total cost $3,961.01

Xotic PC was an outstanding experience from start to finish. After adding some custom upgrades to the machine I was ordering, I was expecting it to take much longer then it actually did. Total time from ordering to getting and setting up my new computer was 6 days....That awesome.

If you are/were fortunate enough to purchase a product from Xotic PC and not have an issue with it lucky you, but from my experience If you do have a problem they will never fix it. MSI has fixed every problem that I've had. If it were not for MSI diagnosing my initial ssd problem which Xotic PC installed. They would have never replaced the bad drive, keep in mind they sent it back to me with the faulty drive after MSI told them it was bad. They also sent it to me twice before that saying that it passed their stress test and they didn't find any issues. It took 3 returns to fix the first issue.

I honestly think that MSI had issues with this model, but it's not their job to replace it since I didn't buy it from them. I bought it from Xotic PC.

Advised by Xotic PC during 5th repair to remove operating system from raid setup and install on one drive. To avoid changing current configuration I purchased an additional 2.5" ssd for $305.00.
