I love Blue Orchid! Crazy amazing flavor! Staff was INCREDIBLE. And our server gave us perfect suggestions off the menu to order. We loved it. And have been back at least 5 more times. Will continue to make this a go to.
Love the food. So many fresh items and great flavor. The service is okay though. The last visit had us waiting over an hour and a half for our food. There food is so great, but you have to plan for time it takes to get it.
Great food, and a helpful staff. There pad Thai is very very good. Plenty spicy on its own. If your daring enough ask for it spicy, they will certainly make sure you get it spicy. Best regards to those who dare.
I've come here dozens of times and had always enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Something has changed... they must have gotten a new chef? I've had three bad experiences in a row here and won't be going back any time soon. I used to always get the panang curry but the last couple of times I've tried it, it was far too sweet to enjoy. Just bad actually and extremely disappointing. It wasn't smokey, as the menu described, and the flavor of kafir lime was non-existent. Last night we went to give an old favorite another chance. I got the lamb masamun, and again... Disgustingly sweet... The flavors from the dish, cinnamon and sugar, completely overpowered any other spices that might have been hiding in there. Completely awful. I used to love this place and really like Thai food, but I don't think I can go back unless something changes. Who wants super sweet Thai food with none of the bright Thai flavors? Ugh....
Have had good food and service here before but giving this a 3/5 because it’s a hit or miss with good service and food. A waitress didn’t box all our extra food up that we asked for ( I don’t like wasting good food!) Also the rice was cold that same day. A different day, we had a good waiter and the food was prepared well.
