Doesnt give you a plan or nothing just makes you go in doesnt even ask how you doing and passes out pain pills wit no plan....
I was referred here from another Pain Specialist who decided not to handle chronic pain management any longer and focus on procedures. I have chronic neck pain from a herniated disc at C3 - C4. We had an established protocol of medication that had been working for well over 18 months.
I have never felt more insulted and taken advantage of for office calls and procedure money by any organization than what you have done to me. You should be ashamed of yourself but I'm sure this wont phase you because there will be someone else ready to come through the door. I will call my previous doctor and let him know what a horrible referral this was. I would rather walk around in pain for the rest of my life than set foot back in your office.
So as an individual who is in pain how am I supposed to go and lose weight DR. Zach? Have you asked me any questions about my caloric intake or exercise routine? What do you know about me from the 10 minutes we have spent together? You sure do assume a lot about me because of my large stature. Does that I mean anyone reading this should make the assumption that you hate the Obese? That's really isolating your market, as in 2013 the OECD found that 57.6% of Americans are just that...Obese. Where in the Commandments does it say Thou shall not be Fat? How do you get off telling me how I should look, just because I'm not a fitting into your BMI scale doesn't mean I'm not healthy and happy. I like being BIG and if you wanted to go into Bariatrics you should have made that your focus.

My grandma has been a patient of Dr Zach's for a few months now. I have been bringing her to her appointments and have seen first hand how caring and wonderful Dr. Zach and his staff are. He listens and helps patients with different pain treatments other than just narcotic medications. His goal is long term relief without relying on those addictive drugs. My first choice for anyone who needs a pain doctor!
Today was my follow up, I left angry for several reasons, the main reason, I WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO LOSE WEIGHT TO RESUME PAIN MEDS....I have neck pain...Do I have a FAT head??? I'm So glad that Dr Zach and his associates feel that my quality of life have no meaning.
My first visit with Dr. Zach, all he wanted to talk about was an injection. So I gave him a chance, let him do the injection, same result as always, minimal relief for 24-36 hours. I had a follow up setup for 2 weeks but I was in pain and when his nurse called to follow up on the injection I asked about the meds. He took me off an NSAID I had been on for 2 years and added another. No other addition, when I asked about it, I was told it would be addressed at the follow up appointment because I needed to have a urine Analysis first.
I had been experiencing pain under my left shoulder blade for over a year. The pain and frequency of occurance had increase over the year causing changes in my daily living and enjoyment of activities. Being new to Lincoln, I searched the Internet and found Innovative Pain. I didn't know if it would work but had to try. Love the place and care I received. I had been told steroid shots don't work, but it did on me! It has been over a month and I am pain free and life is great!
