Dr. Hughes is a horrible doctor. He did surgery on my foot for a lisfranc foot fracture. He put pins in my foot and the following day I was in such terrible pain that I had to break the cast off myself. The pins were put in the wrong place in my foot. I went to another surgeon who had to repair the damage Hughes had done. The second doctor had to not only use pins, but also a plate. He also did a bone graft on the foot. Hughes has lost his license not once, but twice for substance abuse!
I went to see Dr. Hughes a few times. He first did a surgery and removed hardware from my ankle. He reviewed my ankle and told me what he had done. He told me that they had drilled holes bigger in my bones to put different hardware in. He then told me that the bones started to break so he was not able to finish. There was not supposed to be any hardware put in at all everything was suppose to be taken out. This upset me very much. Then he had given me a cordizone shot a few months later. The first one I got was fine he second cordizone shot I got was 3 months later. Dr. Hughes hasd forced it into my ankle and said that he had to push so hard because of all the fluid. I couldnt walk out of the office and for the next few weeks sever pain. Im so disappointed with this office. We looked him up and found out he lost his license in 2006. There are other ankle Dr's in Lincoln. I don't recommend him at all!!!

I had a surgery in this year. I would say all in all the best foot doctor I have ever been to. Very professional doctor. I have recommend all my family and friends to him.
