My husband, son and I went to Ween last night. Before the show started, our friends from Lincoln were there that we haven't seen for over a year. We were on the far right side. Our friends came over to find us before the show so we could visit. The security guard asked us to clear the sidewalk so we left our section and went up on the lawn out of the way from traffic so we could finish visiting. Only being there for not even a minute, a security guard came up to us and told us to find our seats. There were many people standing on the lawn visiting and we tried to point that out but the security guard again said "Find your seats". There was WAY TOO MUCH security it was ridiculous! I felt very uncomfortable during the whole show. They were staring at us the whole time! I felt like I was in a prison. The security was even taking away balloons! I don't think I will go to a show there again. The sound was very good there and Ween was amazing but it's not worth feeling like your in prison when you're going to a show. There should be a section in the front where anyone can go so they can hang out with their friends during a show. Not as fun as it could have been.
If you sit near the back then you won't see much of the show, but the sound is good. The chairs lean slightly forward due to the slope of the ground and this makes for a somewhat uncomfortable arrangement when sitting for very long. Still a nice setting for a venue though.
We have had a wonderful time every trip here. Our latest show was the I Love the 90's tour. The venue and performers did not disappoint! Much better than the arena.
Sound was good, seating was okay in the grass and you could get pretty close to the stage if you tried hard. There are WAY too many security guards, super strict about being in the exact area for smoking. Made me and my friends feel uncomfortable.
Outstanding place for a concert. Plenty loud. Wear comfortable shoes since you may have a long walk from the parking area. Seats are comfortable. Port a potty and regular toilets available near seating / stage. Food and drink available for price.
