We were very impressed with Cali and Kurtis, our DJ for the reception. Cali was super easy to work with and very professional. During the time leading up to the reception, if we needed anything from her, she was very prompt. Kurtis did a great job at the reception. We asked him to do a lot of different things - announce the wedding party, release the tables, announce all the things happening at the reception - he did everything exactly as we asked. He had guests up and dancing the entire time!! He played a great mix of music so everyone had a blast. We had lots of guests compliment us on how much fun they had. We would definitely recommend Cali to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding!
Absolutely horrible DJ service. First I had to contact them several times to set up a in person interview either by email or by phone. Second the DJ arrived 1 hours late to our wedding and didn't have a reasonable excuses for showing up late. Third all the DJ did was play music and go outside and smoke cigarettes, Amanda promised my wife and I that the DJ was going to motivate our guest and keep them dancing and having fun. That was not the case, one of our guest had to grab the microphone and motivate our guest while the DJ just stood there. I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody else. Yes, I admit they are affordable and that's the only reason they deserve a one star. I highly suggest to save your money and go with a better company.
The morning after my wedding I woke up knowing all of my dreams had just come true...even though I knew it was the best day of my life, I still felt like something was missing. It hit me later that day, that I wish I could relive my wedding day as a guest and see how perfect everything was from the outside looking in. Choosing to have Cali capture my whole wedding day was the best decision of my wedding planning process I made. Because of her, I get to relive the best day of my life over and over. Its not just a video either, its the most creative, touching, in depth view point of not only an incredible day but also an unbelievable memory. When I received the "sneak peek", to say I was blown away is an understatement, then when I received the full footage and I was just in tears with so much happiness. Her work is absolutely incredible and I couldn't be more appreciative. Her attention to detail and sense of knowing whats important to you is spot on. My dad is a man of very few words but had the most moving speech, she recorded his words and played it during parts of the live footage that was just moving. Months after my wedding I lost my Granny, Cali's amazing intuition caught the most beautiful footage of her that I now have for the rest of my life.
Cali and her team go above and beyond any of my wildest expectations. They know how to capture the perfect shots without going noticed during your most special day. I highly recommend A Sound Impression!

Every bride has things they wish they would have done or something they would have maybe done differently, but choosing to have a sound impression as a part of my day is a decision I would make 100 times again and will recommend to everyone.
