Great prices, awesome service, lots of room, great drinks
We definitely miss the cozy, almost "friends and family" scene at the old building. But, overall it is still a great place to watch and bet on horse racing.
Tried the Wednesday night special -prime rib ordered it medium and it was gray. Very overcooked. Server was very nice and did a good job with our large group.
Nice facility, but....food service not so much. We asked about a particular item on the menu and waitress said it was the special for the day. However, we weren't told what it actually was. Each Thursday they have the chef's choice for $8. Ordered the chicken fried steak, now I believe at that point the waitress should have told that the special was meatloaf on that particular Thursday. The bill was $11.50. Sorry, but since we pointed directly at that item......would have thought she'd have said then it was meatloaf.
The service isn't always the most dependable. Food is served relativley quickly and quality is typically fair.
Service has been good but the food has been below average the last couple of times I visited the restaurant.
