they are so good to us. ifwe have an issue they are right there in a burry to fix it. :)

I lived at Gate Park with my 2 children for 6 years and I really cannot say enough good things about the place. The only reason I moved is I purchased my own home. Gate Park is a no frills basic community. They have a small playground in the commons area with a picnic table and a BBQ grill. The grill came in real handy. There is a laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers. If you time your washing right you will never have to wait. They are always updating the buildings with new windows, canopy awnings above the entry doors and painted hallways; it keeps the place looking nice and clean. The management takes care to know everyone who lives there by name and you are always greeted with a smile. Any maintenance issue I had was taken care of that day. Both my dishwasher and refrigerator went out in the same year and they were replaced with nice new units, both were old originals when I moved in. Every year you renew your lease you get to choose an upgrade, new ceiling fan, free carpet cleaning and microwave were some of the choices. Also every year they throw a few social gatherings in the club house complete with food, drinks and prizes. If you are a college student looking for a basic apartment or an adult looking for a quiet place to live, Gate Park is perfect.
Management and maintenance staff are absolutely fantastic. We have lived here over two years and any and all issues have been handled quickly and kindly and with the tenants best interest at heart. I will never forget when Kristin, the property manager, personally offered to check on and feed our pet while we were at a hospital for several days--these are the kind of things that add up and truly make us feel like good friends, even family. Rent is SO reasonably priced and appliances/fixtures are updated as need be. It has been easy to call Gate Park our home and we will be sad to leave someday, but for anyone needing/wanting to rent in central lincoln, I highly recommend giving Kristin a call.
The management and maintenance here is truly amazing. They actually cared about us and treated us like family. They were always very concerned about our well being. It is clear the property manager here loves her tenants and wants to build a great community and she goes out of her way to show it. It almost seems to be her calling. Among many other things, they throw a great Christmas party every year and give out really nice gifts to everyone who comes. We got $20 off rent one year and an assortment of great gifts this past year. The reason I mention this is because it defines the management's attitude year round toward their tenants. If you check out gate park and apartments fit your needs, you will be very blessed by the management. We've never lived in a place like this before and we're sad to leave when we moved out of state. The only downside is the parking. The spaces are very tight, but when considering everything else, it's quite a small sacrifice to make. My wife and I left thinking this was quite possibly a once in a lifetime situation as renters.
