I used the service but was charged what I was told by the serviceman (Allen) the standard charge for cabling a kitchen drain was $156.00. Then $10.12 tax was added to the bill. Total charge $166.72 and I received no senior discount.
I am disappointed in this company in Company due to the cost of service. I called Wentz plumbing due to a plugged kitchen drain. I asked what the charge would be for cabling out the kitchen drain. The man who had answered the phone said he couldn't tell me, but that an estimate would be given upon the serviceman seeing the problem. I told him I knew what the problem was; the sink drain was plugged up. I asked for a ballpark figure as the normal charge for such a service. He replied, somewhere it the $100 area. As I am a senior citizen, I ask if there was a senior discount and was told there was.
My experience with Roto Rooter/Wentz Plumbing was very positive. The gentleman that came to my house did great work in a timely manner. He even explained everything to me and drew a picture of what was going on in my drain system. I would recommend them 100%.
On Friday 8/3/12 I called the Wentz Plumbing which is the same as Roto-Rooter Plumbing and drain service at 3:00 p.m. in Lincoln,Ne. I asked if it was possible to have a plumber come out today, They said yes, between 3:00 and 5.00. I was very surprised and pleased when they called back 5 minutes later and said they were on the way. The plumber Mark Cuttler and his apprentice came to my home. They replaced a valve in the inside that lets me turn the water on outside. I hadn't been able to use the hose outside all summer. I needed to clean our air- conditioner unit and water plants that were dying from the draught conditions. They were professional, informative,and friendly. They did a great job!
We'd been having a recurring drain problem in our laundry room and previous service companies had (obviously) not fixed it. We ended up having Greg over last week, not only did he completely take care of the problem, he ran his camera through our drainage system all the way out to the city sewer, to show us that the problem had been solved. Worth every penny!
