Was scammed on a Christmas gift card. A Visa was scanned and charged to me instead of the Walmart gift card I picked up. I was given the Walmart card which had a zero balance when my grandson went to use it. Neither the store nor home office would help resolve this. This is the Walmart on Jamie lane. I will never shop Walmart again.
It's a mixed bag...most prices are good. Guy at electronics counter was very helpful helping us resolve an issue with my son's new Straight Talk phone, even calling Straight Talk for us. After checking the phone, he knew what was wrong, and knew exactly what to tell the representative and got our issue resolved on the spot. Anywhere else in the store, it's hard to find help, and it seems there are never enough checkout lanes open. Later at night, the only checkouts open are the self-serve ones, which can be very inconvenient. I don't make it a point to shop here often. Overall, my experiences at this Walmart have been preferable to any of the other ones. It is more of a "mini-Walmart" though... doesn't have as wide of selection as the other Walmarts.
This review is only for my experience with an online order for store pickup. They could not find it, I waited, they looked. I waited they looked. Finally they found it! But could not figure out how to "bin" the item to get it out of inventory and sell to me. (it was prepaid) After 35 minutes I cancelled the order from my phone while at the service counter and then had them sell it to me. The Walmart Internet to store pickup model is never been good, but this was beyond miserable. The employees really tried, but obviously had not been trained to resolve this matter. 12 hrs more and I could have had Amazon drop it at my door. Whew,
Well, what can you say about Walmart? Bully the competition and force small manufacturers to barely make a profit on their goods and you can be a giant multi-billion dollar corporation. A company that doesn’t care about quality at all and even less their customers. As for this location of Walmart, it’s smaller that some but it’s at least cleaner and more organized than most and less busy because of its location in a wealthy suburban area.
It would be great if they upgrade their thin plastic bags to a more durable ones. It breaks easily it's ridiculous! They should also fix their squeaky carts!
