It was a great school in 1974 and i'm sure it's just as great today. I'm also glad to see the name hasn't changed , but those new houses look at lot older today.
Loved going to Zeman it was a great experience i made good friends and learned lots teachers are nice/strict when you need them.
The teachers were very rude
My brother and I attended in 1974. We were part of the first class after it opened. I still remember the wide open learning areas with just partition walls separating the classes and the centralized teacher office areas. It was totally different from my previous school with traditional school rooms. My 3rd grade teacher was Ms. Maybee and she was a great teacher and friend.
We moved back to Minnesota in 1975 and I left the fond memories and Zeman School behind.
I walked 4 blocks to school each day with my 1st grade brother and we watched the new houses being built around the school along the way. It was pretty exciting.
3 of my daughters went to Zeman and loved the school and staff. They are good at spotting kids that have more potential and allowing them to get into advanced classes.
