We have the best music program in the city, and we have people copying our style of the Pep Band. We also have cool teachers and classes. Yeah there's the outlier students that get talked about, but that's the case with any school. Go Knights!
I'm a Southeast high school graduate of 2009 and I must say most of the students at this school when I was there only want to have sex with one another. Football players are punks and the females are all about drama and who is better than who with having sex. Coaches are trash and don't know talent when it's in front of them. Too many sports politics. It's sad to say but they should start selling condoms in the boys and unfortunately girls locker rooms and bathrooms. Coach Larson was fired due to having a DUI the same coach who cut me because during practice I out ran his entire 1 string Senior Defense during a kick return. He said would not allow a special Ed student make him look bad like that during Scout day when the defensive coordinator for UNL was present this was back in 2007 when I was a Junior not a Senior. Alot of foul bigotry at this school. I learned school recently settled in a law suit against a former student and baseball player. Don't send your kid to this school because teachers allow bullying to take place. It's sad to say but I'm just waiting for the news to come out with the headlines Southeast was shoot up during lunch hour. I say that because of all the crazy kids in this school and all the bullies as well. I had lots of bullies at this school but I ended up fighting them and actually winning the fights. Unfortunately I received 3 separate citations for each one.b But kids don't fight any more they just shoot now with out a care of their future. It's too bad.
Lse is by far the worst school I have been in now i'm transferring to Bryan
I'm a sophomore and I love it here. Yea it may have drama or fights but really?? What high doesn't?? They have amazing opportunities for the students and the only high school that students make a club that is involved with the school. The lunch is bad to some people but it's better than some I have had before like fake hamburger (it was horse). The staff is really nice and helpful and really involved. There's like 30 students in a class (in most) so it can be a little hard for 1-on-1. But it's the best school I've ever been to and they are the cleanest high school in Lincoln. One of the top 3 schools in Lincoln(to attend and athletics). But THE BEST SCHOOL EVER
I have only been here a month and my daughter attends southeast high school and I don't think it is appropriate for the dress code not to be enforced. the first day of enrollment I see so many young girl wearing shorts and dresses that their behinds and more show.. that is not acceptable and not safe or sanitary. it blew my mind when I seen this. In austin tx if the dress code gets out of hand they use uniforms school is to learn about being successful in life not to learn the women's body. if you go to this school you will see exactly what I mean I thought I was walking into a male strip club not a school. the school runs the kids not the other way around. WHAT EXAMPLE IS THAT SETTING FOR OUR KIDS TO HAVE LESS CLOTHES IS GOOD????? NOT FOR ME I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM WITH THIS AND IT SHOULD BE ADDRESSED!!!!!!!!
