We are not familiar with Lincoln and didn't know any better when we booked a room here last night. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE!! WE GO TO CHECK IN FOR AN ALREADY PAID FOR ROOM, ONLY TO DISCOVER THEY GAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE!! EMPLOYEE'S GIVE US ANOTHER ROOM WHERE MY PURSE GETS STOLEN WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING! CAME TO FIND OUT OUR DOOR DOESNT EVEN LOCK AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO KNEW THIS!!! THE POLICE IN LINCOLN CAME AND ARE INVESTIGATING THIS HOTEL AND ITS STAFF! IT IS JUST DISGUSTING THAT PEOPLE CAN HAVE A BUSINESS AND NOT TAKE CARE OF THE PRIVACY AND WELL BEING OF THEIR CUSTOMERS!! I HOPE YOUR CORPORATE OFFICE CLEANS UP THIS FILTHY HOTEL THAT NEEDS BUG BOMBED ALONG WITH GETTING HONEST EMPLOYEES THAT DESERVE A JOB WITH YOUR COMPANY!!
The included breakfast runs from 6 - 9 AM and it offers cereal, toast, coffee and waffles as morning fare.
While the exterior is well maintained, the room was marginal and had "smells". The carpeting in the room felt grungy. I really didn't even want to touch it. Bed linens were clean tough there was a sour smell to the bed as well. Was on a tight budget or would have stayed someplace else.
Although the room we rented was on the dirty side, it was quite large. Reservations were happily accepted up to and on the date and time that one may need to extend their time.
Our room had a safe in it, but the hotel did not have a key to it. Furthermore, some of the other Lodgers seemed to leave a bit to be desired in the safety department as they tended to be pulling consistent all nighters.
Overall, I'd say that this is a fair choice if you are trying to spend as little as possible. There are several other choices in the area if necessary, but the hotel staff really does a great job making one feel as though their business is truly appreciated which is rare in a budget-friendly environment these days.
This was the nastiest place I have ever stayed at! Blood stains on the bed, bugs in the shower, and the sheets were stained. I went down to get a bottle of water out of the vending machine and there was none. No cup to get water anywhere. It smelled of urine and the carpets were stained. This place should be shut down!!! No one stay here!
I understand it's a cheap hotel, but if you stay here don't accidentally leave something. I left my phone charger, I called about it and the lady said "is it white?" Yeah it's white! "Ok I think they found it but I'm not sure what they did with it, could have thrown it out, call back tomorrow and we can ask." I called back the next day and somebody tells me they found one but it wasn't in the right room. Weird, because I never told you my room. She then said call me back in 5 minutes so she could think of a different excuse, 5 minutes later, after 'discussing it with her boss' the phone charger isn't white anymore.
The room was marginal and not well kept up, but the staff was very accommodating. In my opinion, the staff made the visit much better. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. All staff members seemed to share that attitude. The only problem was the housekeepers tended to be quite pushy in the morning if you are known to be departing. We had three different housekeepers suddenly burst into the room, asking if we were leaving. Communication seemed to restore our faith in the otherwise satisfactory accommodations.
