Got checked in ok, they ran out of the $49.99 King size bed rooms, so had to pay more for 2 queens when I didn't want to. Got into the room, went to take a shower and the exhaust fan sounds like a helicopter in the room. Water pressure was great out of the tub faucet but extremely limited out if the shower head. Ac/heat unit didn't seem to work very well. Room was nice looking. Kinda small TV and not centered for both beds to see it easily. Super, super small mini fridge. Didn't have some amenities like Kleenex & shampoo. Wasn't worth the $60+/night, especially with NO breakfast, just a morning coffee thing... Also you have to pay per 24 hour period for wifi! That's ridiculous.
Upon arriving, the clerk stated that their were no rooms ready to be checked into even though there was very low occupancy at the time. She asked me to come back in an hour or so. My reservation time meant nothing I was told. I came back and the room was clean and a good value. There were no toiletries at all. One bar of soap. Bring your own everything.
The bed was comfortable and my room was clean. I got full use out of the mini-fridge and microwave. The orange color walls were bright and cheery. Didn't need a continental breakfast, Cracker Barrel was a stones throw away. Wished there had been a computer to check in on my flight. Otherwise great value for my money!
Room was fine. Took 3 phone calls to get reservations changed. If it wasn't for that probably would have gotten five stars for motels in this price range
Apparently, your reservation cancellation policies have recently changed. Because of a change in my travel plans, i needed to cancel this reservation the morning of the day i was to stay. After many phone calls, i was told a cancellation was impossible and i would forfeit the room fee if i did not arrive. My travel plans are often fluid; I cannot stay at a motel which does not have a more flexible cancellation policy. Having to stay at this motel caused a needless extension of my journey. Your competition is much more flexible.
