GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME and out of the gutter. You can call this office up and about every time, they slam the phone down. I know PLENTY of concerned citizens that call here, and this place does NOTHING. NDOR, Head on over to york Nebraska and fix the whole mess at Exit 353. This area needs 35mph from the huddle house to, just past the convention center. Then, your timing of lights at petro is absolute PURE BS. A 53' trailered semi truck can NOT make that turn on the yellow light timing, let alone ANY yellow light timing in that area!!! TO finalize the cake, you guys are not doing YOUR job to protect us when it comes to our intersections. Placing "safe arrows" in only two directions and especially in that York area, doesn't cut it. You have to put them on all 4 directions. It doesn't cost that much money, so do NOT give us that poor excuse. Oh, and the city of Hastings has an intersection there by allens and walgreen that needs safety arrows too.
You NEED motorist feedback so the community doesn't ask for a petition of staff removal. Suggestions; Hey, HOW ABOUT INCREASE THE SPEED LIMITS on the interstates and highways, decrease them in congested areas , and drop the Speed trap act here in our state!! I do long hauls on the road and in other states, 2 lane highways in Texas with NO shoulders, 70mph. Love it. But the moment you cross into Nebraska from KS, it's DRAGSVILLE!! How about quit raking money in from INCORRECT speed limits and give people want they want. A Faster limit. 65mph on two-lane no shoulders, 70mph on divide highways and get the interstate up to 80mph. Then if you want, drop a Zero tolerance law and also QUIT ENFORCING PASSING laws. It takes 10 extra mph to PASS someone safely on these roads!
It really IS time to open up our interstate to WIDE, 3-lane roads from lincoln to york, Then york on to 312 and so fourth.
You guys have let us down, and quite frankly you are NOT doing your job. Please do it, and do it CORRECTLY. You have many lost lives that are pinned to your souls, it's time you ATONE and make things right.
Roadside rests closed. Next roadside rest too small and so many trucks that we could not park. Even your website is impossible to use. You should be ashamed of yourselves. We are traveling from PA and will be sure to tell everyone we meet to find a way around your state.
Foolish.. They close three test areas IN A ROW for construction. This is causing many near accidents that I witnessed myself. Learn how to plan construction without endangering everyone who's on I80.
