We had an old tile and brass fireplace that was updated to a beautiful stone fireplace. They were friendly, helpful and on time. We were very pleased with the results. I would and have recommended them to friends and family.
We moved to a new house this summer and decided we wanted to get a gas insert instead of our wood burning fireplace. Went into Fireplace Stone and Patio and we thought the facilities were really nice and looked into a few insert options. We then gave our name to the gentlemen working and they told us that we would be called by a Bryan and Jordan to set up an appointment to come to our house and measure for what type of insert we could get. On the day of the appointment (during business hours so my husband had to make sure to be off of work for this) no one shows up (this is about 45 minutes after appointment time.) I call them back and get told that the guy that was supposed to come out to our place "got distracted" and needed to reschedule. Fine, stuff happens , we reschedule. At the second appointment (again business hours- take off work for this) the guy that came out did the measurements but was unable to answer any questions about what insert we could get, he told us that a person would call us to finish this process. Feels like a little run around ,but I understand people have different jobs. A few weeks go by and we get absolutely no response. After the third week I call them to see where we are at in the process. The lady I talk to says she has no record of us in the computer and no knowledge of us getting measurements done. I tell her to please have someone call us as we were really wanting to get an insert done prior to winter. A few weeks go by and again nothing. Never heard from them again. We looked online for a different retailer and found Capital Flame and Patio. Went in and they were great! Answered all our questions, came out to measure within the week and our insert is going in next week. Highly recommend Capital Flame and Patio to spend your money as they will treat you like a customer and not an unwanted visitor/patron.
Was treated very rudely when I called with a question. I would never to business with this place.
I'm going through the same thing again now with stone that we purchased that was back ordered. I'm told that i will get a call back and days / weeks go by with no call back.
The buying experience with Fireplace Stone and Patio was pleasant, our salesperson was very easy to work with but their follow up was very poor when there was any kind of issues. We had a problem with a gas leak in the fireplace which turned out to be a bad regulator in the supply (FSP was not to blame) but it took weeks of calls to get them to help out.
