This zoo makes our city a great place to live. It's always improving, expanding, updating exhibits and getting different animals for our kids to interact with. In addition to the regular season, the zoo also offers special events for the community like Boo at the Zoo. If you haven't been here, check it out!
We are yearly members as we have a 2 year old that loves the zoo. We get up to Omaha a few times a year to do the big one (which is amazing) but live in lincoln. So when we have a spare hour or two, the children's zoo is the perfect size to cruise through and have a little fun. Snacks are reasonably priced and the grounds are super clean.

- hours cater toward non 9-5 crowd so take advantage of weekends or extended hour weds growing soon... poss. Better hours in a year or 2
Went to Polar Express for the second year. You ride the train, make cookies, see Santa and see the zoo in December. It's a good fun thing to do and the crowd is not to big.
Must place to take the kids and or the family. Great staff here will make sure your experience is Awesome! All the wonderful critters their taking care of there are all really cool to see..
