Received tickets for not having a parking permit when a permit was in plain view on the windshield. Although the unhelpful, grumpy employee could not explain why we should receive the violation she reduced the fine instead of appealing it. Not impressed. Absolutely frustrated with their service!! So far, they gave me 7 tickets by mistake and every time I need to go through appealing process and they apologize for officer mistake and then they give me another ticket the next day! Is it really that hard to train your officers and tell them what types of permits are acceptable? I would give them a zero start if it was possible!
Horrible service along with disrespectful employees. They refuse to accept when they are wrong and will ticket you for everything possible without ever giving a warning. Ticket prices are constantly increasing to make a bigger buck.
I am a parent of a student that lives in the 50/50. Only 1 month and she was hit in the parking garage by another student that was speeding in the garage. On move in day it was clear this was going to happen and the garage was not safe to drive or walk in. The 50/50 won't take reaponsibility and they blame the parking transit and the parking transit blames the 50/50. No accountability!!! Shame on you! Won't give my student another option for parking. The 50/50 has been a nightmare and filthy rooms that are completely ripping off these kids. These kids aren't just angry leaving reviews they are legitimate complaints and the treatment they are receiving after paying a ridiculous amount of money to be on campus. If you are a parent and you are concerned with your child's safety I would not recommend letting them rent from the 50/50 and I would look into parking on a lot not owned by UNL. The students are held accountable for paying every penny but the university doesn't provide the safety that they put in black and white in their mission statement. The University treats their students like peasants that are under the universities dictatorship!!! Shame on you UNL! On top of these kids feeling stressed out from full time classes and jobs they have to pay for the pathetic treatment they get from UNL. Truly disgusting how they treat these students. And I'm sure they don't even read the reviews because they don't care! Shame on you!!!
I have issued two tickets for paying via the passport app instead of feeding coins into the meter. Seriously, if you guys do not want people use this app by annoying them with tickets, then just say so. You do not need to do it I this way! Now I have to waste my time visiting them and explaining what happens again! I'd rather give negative star if I can!
