This facility is very nice. It is newer, has controlled access, fenced perimeter, premise monitoring cameras, convenient easy to find location, maintained very well, professionally managed with regular office hours and many different sizes of storage units to choose from. There is also some outdoor storage for campers, boats, etc. Management is very accommodating and easy to work with. Great place!
As an alternative to using the worst company on the face of the planet, I would recommend using Eagles Nest Storage at 3700 Adams. Their location is not as convenient as the other crappy company, but their facilities are nice and the people who work there are very friendly and willing to help with anything. In the interest of full disclosure, I do NOT work there NOR do I work at any other storage company. I am a project manager that demands accountability.
Since I knew they were closed on Sundays, I called today (5/23/2013) to verify that I still had my reservation and to find out what forms of payment they accept so I could pay for it today since I'm out of town MOVING tomorrow and Saturday.
The same lady who I spoke with when I made the reservation answered and told me that they didn't have any more 10' x 20' units available, "too bad, so sad" and THEY COULD PUT ME ON THEIR WAITING LIST.
Are you freaking kidding me??? Do you expect that I'm just going to leave my stuff in the moving truck until you call me????
This is a great storage facility and in nice area of town. Their rates are below competition and have no admin fees! I will be recommending this for sure.
I called on May 9, 2013 to get a 10'x 20' self storage unit. The lady who I spoke with on the phone was very nice the first couple of times that I called.
This has to be one of the absolute WORST places on the entire face of the planet. I would NOT do business with these people EVER.

I made a reservation for one of their units, and was told to NOT pay for the fee yet because I didn't need the unit until Sunday, 5/26/2013. She SPECIFICALLY told me that they would call me when they had only TWO units available, and they would require payment at that time.

When I explained that I had made a reservation TWO WEEKS earlier, she told me that they had NO information about that, and "too bad, so sad". Absofreakinglutely ridiculous. They did NOTHING to rectify the problem, and added insult to injury by telling me that they rented FIVE units YESTERDAY.
Wilderness Self Storage is a great facility. Owner onsite, clean, safe units, friendly helpful people. I rent a large unit and an outdoor space. Needed a U-Haul truck a few times and they went out of their way to have the size I wanted ready when I needed it. Good place. Highly recommend this facility.
