Parked in one of the garages and locked my car, glad I did. From outside the garage noticed a male approach my parked car. Recorded him cup his hands and look in my windows. Hit my panic button on my remote and watched him run for the stairs. Made my way to the stairwell to confront him. Found him wearing a park and go windbreaker style jacket. Needless to say, got my car out of there and parked on the street. Yes I know they are patrolled by png staff but at least it's in the public view and not hidden somewhere a possibly shaddy employee can do whatever it was he was going to do.
Just an overall awful business. I've beem trying to pay a parking ticket I recived for several days and their website does not work and no one will answer the phone when I call. I also just recieved a letter in the mail saying that my ticket have increased by $15. It would have been nice to pay it on time, but I guess Park&Go wants to suck as much money out of me as possible. Thanks!
I park at the garage across from the Lied Center. In general, a good experience. I have never been overcharged. The attendant collecting the fee has always been polite. I was a little taken aback by a sign saying to insert the card (assume they mean a pre-pay or something) into the ticket ejection slot, because the card reader isn't working. Uh... that just doesn't feel right. But I don't have a card yet. Am considering getting one, because it's quite a bargain. When I called this morning with a question, before 9:00 am, I spoke to a real person on about the 4th ring. My question is the reason for being one short of 5 stars. I noticed on Wednesday that the garage would be closed on Friday at 3:00 because of game day. I understand not being able to get in after 3:00. But does that mean we cannot get out, either? (We've been unable to get out of a garage about 4 times in the last 20 years...) Turns out, it was 3:00A.M. I have to go look at that sign this afternoon and see if it is clear that it is 3 in the morning. It certainly wasn't obvious to me. My other suggestion also has to do with signs. There are 3 exit lanes. The middle one will have a sign which says "Credit Card Only", or else "Attendant on Duty". Many people would pull up, find out no attendant, and have to back up. Last year, they were orange-ish, and you couldn't read them. This year they are white on blue, which is a little better, but still... A small spotlight on it would fix that problem.
I like being able to park inside. The view from the upper floors is pretty cool, too.
Have also had incidences of being overcharged by attendance not honoring parking validation stamps and unable to fight them as they won't give you back the slip for proof.
Go to job service to apply for work. Then have time to get to the place where they take money only there very very slow and have caused me several times to pay for 1 min over because they are slow with other customers. &1.25 for 1 min not very good when unemployed could use money for gas to get there and apply for work. Very disappointed even when attendant sees me waiting .
Not a company I trust as a local. Visitors please be aware and use great caution!
Close to Haymarket and super friendly staff
