I had been an Allstate customer for approximately 3 years and when I moved out of state I requested to cancel my auto insurance policy 3 days prior to its billing/auto pay date. I emailed the office and Ashley Canas confirmed via email that my auto policy was cancelled. I was then billed the auto pay 3 days later for an auto policy that should have been cancelled. When I called the office for a second time, Neil told me that Canas had not finalized the cancellation. Because of the negligence and unprofessionalism of the Happ Allstate office, I had to wait another 2 weeks for the money to be refunded to me. The agents and staff in this office are discourteous and ill-suited for their positions if they cannot efficiently complete the simple task of cancelling a policy when it is requested. I should not have had to call the office a second time to ensure that Canas had done her job, and I certainly should not have been charged for a policy that I had cancelled. I do not recommend this office specifically, nor Allstate generally, for any insurance needs.
