Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with when trying to spend money. They made me pay $150 to come to my house to give me an estimate on my window damage. I received the quote via e-mail almost a month later with a description saying this was for an unfinished window and that if I wanted a quote to finish it I would need to contact them. Why would I want an unfinished product was the question in my head? I called them and asked them to give me that quote as well only to be told that they don't do that anymore and I would have to find someone else to finish it for me. On top of all this the quote did not include about half of the damaged windows that my insurance guy told me were damaged. Still trying to get someone to call me back on this one as they never return calls and very rarely answer the phone when I call. Avoid these windows at all cost.
We were happy with the communication before, during and after, as well as the fantastic installation crew. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and professional - plus everything went as planned.
Good luck ordering parts if needed (and you will need them). Very poor customer service. Online ordering is convoluted. No chance of getting a live person on the phone. Very disappointed. Wont buy Pella again. Will go with someone local who actually stands behind product. O stars.
Purchased Pella Windows years ago. Thought we'd update the entire house. Sales people seem to be satisfied with only big sale and not our intent to purchase one at a time to fit our budget. I suspect this is mangement driven. They seem to have adopted the sales tactics of used car salesman. Good-bye Pella.
I installed Pella windows in my entire home 8 years ago, recently, with all of the rain storms we have been having, my living room window started leaking water under the siding and leaking into my family room window. I called the 800 number to find out that Pella only has a 2 year warranty on there windows. I wish they had told me this upfront, I think I would have purchased different brand of windows with a better warranty. Then the gentleman tells me it will cost me $150.00 to get a service technician out to tell me were the window is leaking in at. If I have to replace this window, IT WILL NOT BE A PELLA BRAND WINDOW. For what these windows cost, there should be a lot better warranty than 2 years.
