I love this used book store. Everyone is so helpful and friendly! The selection of books is constantly changing and I can always find something good there.
Quite possibly my favorite bookstore ever. A Novel Idea has gently used books of all genres available for you to browse and buy for but a little money. Cinnamon and Katherine excel at keeping in mind the sort of things you're looking for. They will also find specific volumes if you ask and will add them to their mental "get list" whenever they go on a book buy. Best of all, you can pet a kitty while you read; perhaps the greatest luxury discovered by the literary mind!
This place is truly a gem. You can truly tell the employees are passionate about what they do and the kitties are adorable!
There is something magical about this place. Large and ever changing selection of books both new and old, the smell of their pages fill the place with that nostalgic mystical smell that only books can bring. Staff, both two and four legged are super friendly and extremely helpful (and let's be honest, it's not a true legitimate bookstore unless it has a resident cat or two). This place is the poster child for vellichor (the strange wistfulness of used bookshops). They often have free books out in front as well. Definitely worth a stop.
Best book store ever! Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. Great selection, but don't see what you want? Let them know and they'll contact you if they get a copy. Alas- if they get to know you well enough, sometimes they'll stash away books they think you'll like. :) Not to mention the store cats and occasional cookies!
